101 in 1001… Goals Update | Denver Wedding Photographer

I figured since it is now 2012… I should look back on my 101 in 1001 days list and reflect and see which things I have accomplished! 🙂 I am happy to say I have crossed off 7 of these items in the last 4 months! 2012 is going to be a year of adventure and we will be crossing a lot more of these off. I can’t wait to see what 2012 will bring us.

 

Our 101 list!

1. Get in the best shape of my life and stay that way.

2. Get engaged.

3. Pay off my car and buy a new one, that is faster of course.

4. Do 1 session every month that sparks creativity, do it for myself, to continue to love what I do.

5. Help Habitat for Humanity complete a project.

6. Continue to grow my relationship with God.

7. Be featured on Style Me Pretty.

8. Be featured on 15 style blogs. (3/15) – This one is only a tad bit complete… 🙂 3/15 isn’t so bad!

9. Document my own life.

10. Take family photos of my family every year.

11. Photograph and put together a styled shoot to match my brand.- Done 🙂 10/12/11 You can see it here…

12. Have a promo video made to represent our company.

13. Have no more roommates.

14. Pay off all my credit cards.

15. Run a 5k and complete it.

16. Take a road trip.

17. Second shoot for one of my favorite photographers.

18. Create and design a themed engagement shoot series.

19. Help another photographer build their business.

20. Become a mentor.

21. Teach a workshop.

22. Go Bungee Jumping.

23. Go white water rafting every year with my dad.:)

24. Travel to 5 different states and 3 different countries to photograph a wedding. (0/5) (0/3)

25. Have a photo shoot with Garrett. We recently had our photos done.. Click the link to check them out!

26. Help someone cross something off their bucket list.

27. Run on the beach. – Done

28. Swim with dolphins.

29. Get my business completely organized.

30. Complete a workflow that will make us more productive with our time. – Done

31. Photograph a New Years wedding.

32. Become a preferred vendor at 10 + venues (0/10)

33. Send out Holiday Cards every year.

34. Be more consistent with my blogging:)

35. Do something I told my self I would never do.

36. Purchase a macro lens. – Done

37. Master my off camera lighting.

38. Get my boudoir work published.

39. Write a hand written love note.

40. Attend a workshop by one of my favorite photographers. – We attended Zach and Jody‘s In Camera workshop! It was such an amazing class! Check it out here!

41. Create a organized budget.

42. Start cooking 3x’s per week.

43. Actually do 5+ DIY ideas I have pinned on pinterest. (0/5)

44. Learn to windsurf.

45. Learn to Kayak in the Ocean.

46. Finish my wedding welcome packets.

47. Outsource so that I can spend more time doing the things I love.

48. Read… The most important year of a Man’s/Woman’s life

49. Read 5 books that will help my business. (0/5)

50. Learn to say no.

51. Shoot 20 weddings a year by the end of 2013.

52. Teach Jade to roll over. Haha.

53. Re-Design my studio to completely match my brand.

54. Make a tufted headboard for our room.

55. Go 48 hours without all technology.

56. Take a guilt free weekend to relax. – Done. Took a vacation to California by myself. No phone for 3 days was awesome!

57. Spend more time with my parents.

58. Meet Karen Stott in person.

59. Learn to fish.

60. Camp on the beach in a tent.

61. Learn to speak Italian.

62. Read the entire bible.

63. Jump off of a waterfall.

64. Hike up to Hanging Lake.

65. Lay under a plane before it lands.

66. Go kiteboarding.

67. Shoot a photographers wedding that I admire.

68. Reach my business goals.

69. Participate in a Flash Mob!

70. Make a schedule and stick to it.

71. Go skydiving over the royal gorge.

72. Ride in a hot air balloon.

73. Watch my brother get married.

74. Take photos of both sets of grandparents.

75. Give away a session to someone who needs it.

76. Visit all 50 states.

77. Shoot a engagement session with film.

78. Complete my sample album collection.

79. Go swimming in the Hot Springs.

80. Have 1 date night every other week with no work talk allowed.

81. Take my studio out of my home.

82. Photograph my parents and their love for each other.

83. Have a relationship with God that I am proud of.

84. Photograph a underwater session.

85. Photograph a proposal.

86. Write down something that inspires me everyday, put it in a jar, and at the end of the year go through and read them.

87. Get published in 3 magazines.

88. Go to a drive in movie.

89. Bake a cake that actually tastes good.

90. Take my pups on a walk everyday.

91. Go to Napa and make my own wine.

92. See the Grand Canyon.

93. Travel to Italy.

94. Make a fort in my living room and sleep in it.

95. Photograph a military homecoming.

96. Dance in the rain.

97. Learn to shoot a gun. Got my first gun for christmas this year, and took lessons at a local gun range! Yes!

98. Have a romantic dinner in the middle of nowhere.

99. Design an office that I love to work in. – Done. I absolutely love my office.

100. Go through my thousands of emails from the past year and clean house:)

101. Go on a trip strictly for fun, no business allowed.:)
