Kate & Nicks Della Terra Mountain Chateau Wedding

Kate and Nick were married on July 18, 2014 with a ceremony and reception at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, CO. Garrett and I were so excited to shoot this beautiful Della Terra Mountain Chateau wedding.

Kate & Nick started their day by exchanging gifts. I loved Nick’s reaction when he opened her boudoir album, and the way tears ran down Kate’s face as she read his letter. We had gorgeous blue skies above during the ceremony and their sweet pup Griffin was such a great addition to their ceremony, as he is like their baby. My favorite part of the day was when Kate and her dad were walking down the aisle, the bridesmaids – her sisters, reactions were absolutely the best I’ve seen.

We had just started formal pictures after the ceremony when the weather changed and a terrible monsoon came out of absolutely no where. Kate was such a trooper. It was unlike anything I had ever seen! But it cleared up, and we were able to get a few more of Kate and Nick alone and then they danced the night away! Nick’s brother couldn’t make it to the wedding, so he surprised the couple with a video toast, and it was perfect.

Thank you Katie and Nick, for allowing Garrett and I to capture this moment for you! And Thank you both for toughing out the crazy weather, and not letting it ruin such a beautiful day! If nothing else, it means your marriage can make it through anything. 🙂
