We cannot say enough good things about these two, they are some of the most down to earth people we have ever met, and man, they are perfect together in front of the camera. Katie, constantly snuggling up with Dan, and Dan doing everything in his power to get some laughs out of her, lets just say these two are so incredibly perfect together. We CAN’T wait for their wedding in August!

Here is their story!

“We met at the University of Colorado through Air Force ROTC. We had several mutual friends, and began to hang out a lot more during our Junior year. After spending a lot of time together during a spring break trip to Panama City Beach Florida, we realized there was something there, but remained friends for a while because dating within ROTC can get messy.  I eventually was able to convince him that what we were worth a shot despite the risks, and we never looked back.

After graduation and commissioning, Dan moved to Biloxi, MS with me while I attended my Tech School for 6 months. It was the evening of July 20th when he proposed. We had spent a very relaxing day together, went to the movies, went out shopping, and ate dinner at an awesome BBQ joint called The Shed. Full from our meal we decided to take a walk along the beach to watch the sun set. We had been walking for a while when we stopped to enjoy the moment, and before I knew it he was on one knee purposing! I knew that it was coming for a while, but it didn’t occur to me that today would be that day, and that this moment was really here and happening…so naturally I laughed at him! It wasn’t the reaction either of us expected, but I still managed to say yes in the process!”
