I had forgotten what it was like to drive in ski traffic, and on this beautiful Saturday morning, we were able to experience ever little bit of it. But you know what the amazing thing about being stuck in a car for so long is? You begin to look, and wonder and appreciate the natural beauties all around you, you begin to talk to each other and laugh, and tell stories, stories that wouldn’t be told if you were at home with all of your smart devices 🙂 There is nothing I love more than long car rides into the mountains.
We met Kate & Nick up in Breckenridge at the oh so gorgeous Ice Castles (if you haven’t been, they are definitely a must see) for their engagement session. And although I was almost positive that I had frost bite, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, and I don’t think I have laughed that hard in so long. I love their humor, I love their affection towards one another, and I love that they hold their kisses for just a second longer.
We were able to take some more time and shoot some film that day, and I am so glad we did 🙂
