This wedding held a lot of emotions for me personally. I’ve known Tyler since we were 12 years old. Being able to photograph this important day in his life was such an honor.
From as far back as I can remember Tyler has always said he would marry Zosia. Their love has grown over 12 years together. The culmination of all this time came together in one perfect day.
When Tyler proposed to Zosia her gave her his grandmothers ring. During their engagement Zosia kept a journal for him. It was something that she gave to him on their wedding day. She sat on the couch with Tyler’s mom and remembered each entry. When Tyler received the journal it was impossible for him to keep his eyes dry.
I fell in love with Zosia’s dress from the second I saw it but that didn’t stop me from becoming completely overwhelmed with emotion when she walked to to meet Tyler at the front of the aisle. The smile on Tyler’s face told me he was thinking the exact same thing I was. The ceremony had an added level of perfection because the bride and groom chose to do it ‘unplugged.’ In a world where we rely on technology, it was sweet to see everyone simply enjoying the memory.
I couldn’t be happier that my friend has found the perfect partner in life for him. The love that was felt that day will always be a fond memory for me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this journey with both of you!
