Las Vegas Flash Mob | 101 in 1001 List | Denver Wedding Photographer

Last year when I made my 101 list I had a few things that I was dying to cross off, and this post is about one thing that was definitely up there on the list.

We started planning our trip to Las Vegas back in October. WPPI happens every year and we wanted so much to be a part of such a incredible experience. Since booking our trip, we decided to not only for go WPPI but only attend classes for Showit United (details on that to come in another post.) I am so fortunate for all the amazing people we have met online through Showit, and in Vegas. I was so excited when someone posted something about a flash mob at WPPI. I just had to cross that item off my 101 list, and then I talked Garrett into doing it with me too! I have to say it was one of the coolest experiences we have ever been a part of. I totally felt like a secret agent, while waiting there for the dance to happen in the incredibly packed convention center. We practiced and practiced and the day finally came when we would do the flash mob dance with a ton of our other Showiteer friends in the MGM convention center. We waited for what seemed like forever for the classes to get out, people started roaming around, trying to find their next class and then we began to put on a show stopping performance. Literally there were thousands of people watching. It was incredible, and if we could do it all over again, we would in a heart beat! So here is to crossing off #69 on our 101 list! 🙂

AHHHHH! Ali I totally saw you! I was coming down the escalator from WPPI class. Very cool. I’m glad you posted this, after all the craziness of the week I forgot to tell you I thought it was super fun to witness.

    – Too funny. You can see the back of my head in your second image. Second, I ctollemepy agree with you. It was my first WPPI. I did learn things in the film classes I attended, but I think I had the most fun talking to new people. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet you in person.
