This has to be one of the most fun engagement sessions we’ve ever shot, but mostly because we spent the entire time laughing, since our paddle boat wasn’t very good at paddling, and that Eric was making Danielle jump by rocking the boat. These two are seriously awesome, and we had so much photographing them. We cant wait until their wedding next month at the Evergreen Lake House. We knew the Colorado outdoors were a huge part of their relationship, so why not do their engagement session in the middle of a lake on a canoe, it was absolutely perfect!

Their engagement story is definitely one we have never heard before 🙂 “There were half a dozen live scorpions on my head at the set of Fear Factor in Orlando’s Universal Studios! Eric convinced me to partake in one of the live stunts under the pretense that it would allow him to get on the show. Not wanting to let him down, I did it despite my reservations. Once the scorpions were taken away, Eric got down on one knee in front of a couple hundred audience members and asked me to marry him!”

We were able to shoot a mix of Film and Digital on this session, and I am so in love with the way our film scans came back!
