I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Brynn from First Look Events over the last year. She is incredibly talented, and truly cares about making her couple’s day the absolute best it can be. Now its your turn to hear from one of Denver’s best wedding planners.
Tell me about First Look Events?
Our passion lies in creating innovative, beautiful designs that are perfectly curated to tell our clients story. We find inspiration in the most unlikely places and create extraordinary experiences for the host and guests alike.
What made you fall in love with weddings?
I love any excuse to bring people together over great food and tasty libations, but weddings hold a special place in my heart. The challenge of encapsulating a couples love for each other in a unique way is the best part of my job. The moment I see the couple see each other for the first time, the moment I send them down the aisle to start their forever, and the first time they hold each other with their favorite music playing in the background, I fall in love with my job again and again.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The design and creative aspect of my job is my absolute favorite part of my job. I strive to think outside of the traditional color box and create unique and captivating designs for each one of my clients. 
What is one of your favorite stories from a wedding of yours?
There are far too many to pick just one, my job is filled with laughter and crazy moments everyday. I will come out with a wedding planner tells all book eventually and let you in on all my favorite stories.
What trends are you loving, and which would you love to see go?
I am loving the farm-to-table food trend. It is so much fun to celebrate the amazing food and chefs that we are lucky to have in our backyard. While I love a good hashtag, I would like to see this trend fade out so that we encourage guests to be present in the moment and not documenting every moment for social media. After all we hire amazing photographers for a reason 😀
Advice for Brides/Grooms to be?
Enjoy the planning process, don’t do things just because you feel like you should. Make sure your day is filled with people, sounds,tastes and experiences that bring you pure happiness.
How do you encourage your couples to personalize their wedding and step out of the pinterest box?
I love thinking outside of the box and encouraging my couples to come up with unique ideas that represent them. I ask clients to think about their favorite hobbies, date nights, and vacations etc. These are all great topics to inspire unique designs.
Your favorite moment on a wedding day?
This is such a hard question. It is actually the question that inspired my companies name. My husband asked me this exact question and I couldn’t pick just one moment that I loved. My response was: I love the couples First Look, I love the family seeing the couple for the first time, I love the couples First Look at the event space, I love the couples First Look at of the details. I guess in a nut shell, I love seeing my couples enjoy every moment and detail of their special day.
What do you think is the most important thing about the service you offer your couples?
I think my niche lies in really getting to know my clients and expressing their love story through a unique design. Couple should now that I will get to know them as if they are a guest in my home and I will go to the ends of the earth to make their day perfectly unique to them. 
What is your favorite thing to do outside of the wedding industry?
When I am not working you will find me enjoying the beautiful landscape of Colorado on long hikes with my family. I am also a huge foodie and love trying out all the new local hotspots!
