2018 Year in Review | Colorado Wedding Photographer

January 9, 2019

2018 was one for the books. Year after year, we have the most incredible clients who offer us the privilege of witnessing their love stories and photographing many of their once in a lifetime moments. This past year was no exception and we are grateful to all the amazing couples we had the opportunity to work with.

We made a few huge shifts in our business this year that allowed us to reach new goals. With our little girl going into full day school, we knew we had to make a change to the number of weddings we were photographing each year and the amount of time we were spending away from our family. We scaled back from photographing 25 weddings a year to 15 amazing, beautiful, ridiculously awesome weddings. It was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. We were able to take time to enjoy each and every couple we had and found ourselves able to invest more into their wedding days. We were also able to enjoy the summer as a family without working and being away every single weekend. We also changed from photographing traditional engagement sessions to photographing only adventure sessions. They are what excites me as a photographer and I love photographing couples in their element, watching how they connect and interact with each other.

We feel so incredibly grateful for the couples who truly trusted us as their photographers and who have become friends beyond their wedding day.  I’ve cried a lot of ugly tears watching so many incredible moments at weddings, and also laughed a whole lot. We’ve met some of the most incredible humans this year, and we are forever grateful. I am sure 2019 will just as amazing as 2018.

Here’s a collection of our favorite wedding and adventure session photos from 2018! We hope you enjoy.
