Crested Butte Wedding Photographer

Lauren and Davey’s Crested Butte wedding on top of Red Mountain was one of the most gorgeous we’ve ever been a witness to. I knew when we did their fly fishing adventure session, it was going to be amazing to be with them on their wedding day. They have an amazing connection as a couple. They are playful, free spirited and didn’t take anything too seriously on their wedding day. The groomsmen kicked off the wedding day by playing a game of baseball in the morning. The entire wedding party eventually joined in after the first look.

Their mountain wedding ceremony location was super special and unlike any other in Colorado. The site was on a piece of Lauren’s father’s property with views of Mount Crested Butte below. I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life and photographed numerous mountain weddings in the Colorado mountains but I’ve never seen views like this. The view from Lauren and Davey’s wedding site was unreal.

As if the drop dead gorgeous views weren’t enough to make their wedding day spectacular, Lauren and Davey’s had a gorgeous tipi style tent from Under the Sky that fit onto the landscape perfectly and set the stage for a gorgeous Crested Butte wedding.

During their reception under the tent, Lauren’s dad stood up to make a toast. There was not a dry eye in the house as he gave praise to his beautiful wife, “this is my partner, my friend and my wife of 37 years, she’s been the best mom, the best wife, and tonight I have to say that we wouldn’t have these three beautiful children if it wasn’t for her.” I love the beautiful example that these two have of what long and lasting marriage looks like. Everyone was crying, even Garrett.

Lauren and Davey’s star photos are some of my favorite we’ve ever taken. Garrett knocked it out of the park on this one. A spectacular finish to a truly stunning wedding day. I cannot wait to see you all as you venture back to Colorado in the years to come.
