It was the Grandmother of the bride who opened the doors to her lakeside home for Emma and Dave’s wedding day. Decades prior, the idyllic estate home, stretched along the tranquil waterfront, was the same location of Emma’s parents’ wedding. Thus allowing Emma and Dave to write the narrative of their own love story, all while centered on moments of reminiscence in the same location.

Hosting their wedding at the estate home allowed Emma and Dave to create a layered experience. One that drew on their vision, while allowing their guests to feel a distinct sense of intimacy and privacy.

As the day began, the inside of the home was bustling. With Emma and Dave preparing in their respective spaces, there was an atmosphere of lively energy. So much so that Emma and Dave snuck in an unexpected first look before they were wedding day ready. The fun moment spoke to the emotions that Emma and Dave shared that day. A sense of excitement as they began to embark on this new chapter together, and the exhilarated feeling of anticipation.

Shortly after, once they were both in their wedding attire, Emma and Dave shared a more formal first look on the lawn of the home.
